Start outside unsolicited messages
Do not use a destination sent through a direct message, advertisement or unexpected support chat. Verify the expected address through a trusted record you established earlier.
Authentication hygiene
Use a password manager to detect address mismatches and a unique password so one breach does not unlock another account. Enable two-factor authentication where supported and store recovery material securely.
If access changes unexpectedly
Record the time, device, error and support case number. Do not repeatedly upload identity documents to different links. Use the documented account-recovery channel and remove secrets from screenshots.
